Short Story Saturday

This week I have some poems that I wrote while I was camping this past weekend.


Oh, the heartache
Oh, the happiness
The two in one day
How can that be?
My world was leaving
Yet my universe was staying.
They both are my lifeline.


He's my forever
You are my always
You both go together
Like whipped cream and strawberries.
The future is unsure,
But I am sure
I will always need my forever and always.

*Change of plans, instead of posting a whole story each Saturday, I will be posting half each Saturday. I didn't realize that it was going to be so hard to write a whole short story in just one week. So with that being said here is half of the story (title TBA): It was 1am and I should be sound asleep, but I can’t sleep when I hear mumbling and noise down in the kitchen. Short Story Saturday

I know it isn't Saturday yet, but I will be away this weekend so here is the other half of 'The ghost who ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches' a day early. All throughout the day, I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened early this morning. I couldn’t pay attention in any of my classes and I even ignored my friends at lunch. By the end of the day, I was so tired from thinking and getting barely any sleep that when I got home I crashed on the couch. I wasn’t until mom came in from work that I realized I’d slept until 9. ‘Honey, are you okay?’ Mom asked. ‘Yeah, I just had a long day.’ ‘Well did you eat any dinner?’ ‘No, I crashed when I got home.
